Job Summary
Staff Accountant II performs advanced accounting tasks and provides comprehensive project financial support. Responsibilities include completing complex project setups aligned with contract terms, collaborating with Project Managers to analyze project WIP and A/R aging, preparing and processing monthly client invoices independently, maintaining accurate project financial records, processing accounts payable and reconciliations, ensuring internal controls compliance, posting daily cash receipts and bank activity in Deltek Vantagepoint, supporting month-end close and bank statement reconciliations, and participating in process improvements and software enhancements. Strong analytical and communication skills are required to support decision-making and cross-team collaboration; goal is to improve financial workflows and implement efficiencies. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.
