Job Summary
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and reconcile Revenue and COGS for different divisions. Provide variance reports for Revenue, COGS, and SG&A to the Accounting Manager, review general and administrative costs for accuracy, and assist in research and resolution. Respond to correspondence and inquiries related to sales tax, assist in gathering documentation for the annual financial audit, and contribute to ad-hoc report analysis. Participate in the close process by preparing month-end journal entries and act as a liaison with Managers and Executives to improve accounting procedures. Work with a degree of independence under the general direction of the Accounting Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting or Finance Field
- Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in an accounting role
- Must have clear and thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
- Strong communication, written, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Knowledge of NetSuite and PowerBI
- Detail orientated and able to meet deadlines
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
