Job Summary
Staff Accountant I focused on payment processing: review payment requests, create and maintain payee templates, process payments, validate payee bank details, assist in cash forecasting, support audits, and participate in ad-hoc projects related to payment and cash management. Emphasis on ensuring accuracy, compliance with company policies, timely execution of payments, and collaboration with auditors and departments to optimize payment processes and cash management.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in General Ledger/ Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivables transactions in a Shared Service or Insurance environment
- Strong Microsoft Excel Proficiency
