Job Summary
Maintain and record routine accounting transactions, reconcile banking and cash activity within specified timelines, and work with Tour Reps to accurately record expenses. Create project numbers for new events in Oracle, complete assigned account reconciliations, and prepare journal entries. Provide audit support as needed and handle monthly GL close assignments with quick turnaround times and tight deadlines. This Staff Accountant I position blends transactional and entry-level accounting duties for the Live Nation Concerts division, requiring a self-motivated individual to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Oracle experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
- 1-3 years relevant experience
- Quality problem solving and communication skills
- Oracle experience
- Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Drive to learn and take on new challenges and projects
