Job Summary
Staff Accountant opportunity with Hoxton Circle in Sausalito, CA on a long-term contract. Sole accountant on the team working with senior leadership across portfolio assets, handling general ledger, reconciliations, cash management, journal entries, intercompany activity, construction/CIP tracking, and complex accounts payable across multiple entities. Responsibilities include month-end and year-end close support, detailed balance sheet reconciliations, audit-support schedules, and coordinating vendor invoices and payment processes with leadership and finance teams. Requires multi-entity GL experience, high-volume bank reconciliations, construction-vendor exposure, and strong Excel skills; Yardi Voyager is a plus. Hybrid flexibility available within a lean, leadership-driven finance environment with a clear temp-to-perm pathway.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Multi-entity general ledger and reconciliation experience
- High-volume bank reconciliations (daily/weekly)
- Complex Accounts Payable with coding judgment and construction vendor exposure
- Cash management and intercompany experience
- Intermediate-to-advanced Excel
