Job Summary
Prepare financial reports and invoices with required documentation for grantor submission, ensuring compliance with guidelines and timelines. Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and projections to verify fund utilization per agreements and federal regulations. Reconcile grant-related accounts, analyze agreements for reporting requirements, and compile year-end reports for audits. Act as the primary fiscal contact for sub-recipients and funders while coordinating with the Grant Manager and program staff to record transactions and adhere to deliverable deadlines. Ensure payroll allocations match grant stipulations and apply indirect costs accurately. Support the Holiday Center Operation and meet personal goals aligned with organizational KPIs and SMART targets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-5 years of experience working with Grants and fund accounting
- Must demonstrate legal authorization to work in the United States
- Must pass applicable pre-employment background screening procedures
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Superior analytical skills
- Above-average MS Excel Skills
- Hearing and speaking ability which allows for effective oral communication of information
- Physical, emotional, and spiritual stamina to handle job-related issues and stress
