Staff Accountant, Fixed Assets

Job Summary
Staff Accountant responsible for fixed asset accounting (capitalization, depreciation, transfers, disposals, CIP) and supporting broader accounting operations. Duties include maintaining the fixed asset subledger, posting recurring and non-recurring journal entries, assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual close, preparing reconciliations and financial statements, analyzing variances, and supporting audit and regulatory reporting. Collaboration across Finance, IT, Facilities, and other business partners; familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP; CPA preferred and Big Four experience preferred. Requires strong technical accounting skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; proficient in Excel and able to communicate effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance
- Active CPA highly preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience; Big Four experience highly preferred
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP; SEC experience a plus
- Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Strong Excel skills; professional/clear communication
