Prepare drafts of financial statements, monthly account reconciliations, and general journal entries. Analyze general ledger accounts, billing transactions, and major variances between actuals and budget reports. Maintain the fixed assets system, prepare audit work papers, and support tax return schedules. Review supporting schedules and detail general ledger accounts for interim, monthly, and year-end closings. This role supports Financial Operations Reporting at UMass Memorial Health, a premier health system in Central Massachusetts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Business Administration degree
- One to two years' accounting experience
- Working knowledge of personal computer and PC based spreadsheets
