Job Summary
Record and reconcile construction costs, capital expenditures, and project-related accruals while assisting with monthly and quarterly reporting. Track and code development project costs, monitor assigned accounts, and maintain complete working papers. Prepare consolidated financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and Non-GAAP disclosures for SEC filings, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and internal controls. Partner with development, asset management, and corporate teams to analyze project costs against budgets and document processes for improvement automation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 1-3 years of public or corporate accounting experience
- Knowledge of accounting theory, including GAAP and IFRS
- Excel
- CPA
- US GAAP
- Internal controls
- Background check
- Drug screening
- Verification of employment
- Verification of education
- Verification of other credentials relevant to the position
- Minimal out of area and overnight travel
