Job Summary
Process rush or emergency accounts payable requests and enter standard invoices into NetSuite, managing vendor onboarding and document uploads. Perform monthly reconciliations of sub-ledgers to the general ledger, prepare routine journal entries, and assist with monthly close activities and audit schedules. Maintain the Chart of Accounts, generate monthly expense reports, and execute ad-hoc projects. This hybrid role supports the Finance department at the D.C. Bar, requiring strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant work experience in accounting or finance
- Experience with a cloud-based ERP accounting system
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
- Demonstrated commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment

Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Experience in a membership association or nonprofit environment
