Job Summary
Staff Accountant at Chicago Public Media responsible for monthly close, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting, serving as primary liaison with the Corporate Sponsorship team, handling invoicing, account aging, grant reporting, and supporting annual audits and regulatory filings. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, GAAP knowledge, ERP experience, ability to perform variance analysis and prepare financial statements, and strong communication and project-management skills. CPA or CPA candidacy preferred.
