Job Summary
Prepare consolidated financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and departmental data. Handle day-to-day accounting activities including invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and month-end closings while performing full-cycle bookkeeping. Develop and analyze financial reports using advanced spreadsheet tools to verify data, prepare general ledger entries, and maintain accurate financial records. Evaluate internal accounting procedures to recommend process improvements and support monthly and quarterly close processes. Maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard company financial information. Assist in the preparation and completion of financial statements and tax returns for compilation engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Finance and Accounting
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Workday
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Advanced knowledge of MS Outlook
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to process large volume of invoices and payments
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines with competing and shifting priorities
Desired Qualifications
- CPA designation
- Active CPA candidate
- Previous experience with QuickBooks
- Previous experience with Sage 300
- Aptitude to learn new software quickly
