Job Summary
Join Major Food Group as a Staff Accountant at Carbone Fine Food, focusing on monitoring account balances, tracking expenses, and preparing analyses of accounts to generate monthly financial reports. Responsibilities include reconciling general ledger accounts, managing the AP approval process, handling the AR process including deductions and disputes, and managing trade spend meticulously. The role requires strong CPG experience in the Food & Beverage industry, a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with QuickBooks and specific distributors like UNFI & KEHE. A detail-oriented mindset and ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential.
Required Qualifications
- CPG experience in Food & Beverage industry preferred (4 years +)
- Advance Excel Skills required (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Formulas)
- Detailed oriented with excellent follow up skills and communication
- Can work with a team and independently
- 3-5 Years’ experience of general accounting experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with UNFI & KEHE
- QuickBooks Enterprise experience
