Job Summary
Staff Accountant delivers core accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable and payroll; prepares and analyzes financial statements, balance sheets, and supports month-end/year-end closes. Responsible for ensuring GAAP compliance, forecasting/budgeting activities, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and assisting with tax returns and audits. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes, tracks 401K withholdings, and coordinates physical inventory reporting; supports financial analysis and decision-making for management.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED
- ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents
- basic understanding of GAAP
- strong communication and organizational skills
- experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month-end close processes
- BS preferred
Desired Qualifications
