Job Summary
Process general ledger accounting, manage fixed assets, and reconcile accounts payable and receivable. Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reports, including flux analysis and forecasting. Post journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and support external auditors. Operate AI-assisted workflows to review outputs, own exceptions, and recommend process improvements. Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements in a publicly traded environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 1-2+ years direct experience with General Ledger Accounting in a publicly traded company
- 1+ years of public accounting experience
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Proficiency in MS Word
- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and priorities to meet objectives
- Working knowledge of US GAAP
- Working knowledge of general accounting principles
