Job Summary
Enter data into accounting systems, journalize transactions, and verify the general ledger is in balance daily. Prepare and post journal entries for card and ATM settlements, clear suspense items, and reconcile bank accounts prior to month-end close. Assist in month-end close, financial statement preparation, and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations to management. This role supports a high-performance team focused on delivering service excellence aligned with credit union objectives.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelors degree in accounting or finance
Desired Qualifications
- At least two years of accounting experience in a financial institution
- Preferred experience with Portico and Wisdom and other Fiserv Products
