Job Summary
Assist payroll specialists with bimonthly payroll activities and employee record maintenance. Establish Costpoint records for new hires and subcontractors, then reconcile and maintain General Ledger balances for payroll, journal entries, accounts payable, and fixed assets. Ensure timely filing of internal GL records and provide guidance on compliance with internal policies, GAAP, FAR, and CAS. Support annual audits, Incurred Cost Submissions, and DCAA interactions while collaborating with the Project Control team to track and close out active projects. Assist with special projects, integrations, and due diligence. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required with at least two years of government contracting experience; proficiency in Deltek Costpoint, ADP, and advanced Excel is desired. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- At least 2 years of experience in finance and accounting in the government contracting industry
- Must be detail oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Analytical approach and mindset
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint
- Experience with ADP
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate, both oral and written, with individuals across the organization
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline is desired
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is desired
- Self-motivated and results-oriented individual with strong work ethic
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
