Job Summary
Manage day-to-day financial records, reconcile accounts, and complete month-end closing transactions and adjustments. Prepare general ledger transactions to recognize monthly revenue and expenses, enter adjusting entries, and maintain reconciliations of balance sheet accounts and sub-ledgers. Confirm depreciation terms, distribute profit/loss reports monthly, and respond to inquiries. Initiate bank transfers, wire transfers, and ACH transfers; review expense reports in SAP Concur and close weekly batches. File sales tax and personal property returns, apply and renew business licenses, and assist with the accounts payable process, cash posting, and budget process. Support the annual audit process by providing schedules, gathering information, and responding to questions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Bachelor's degree
- One year related experience
- Ability to compose business correspondence
- Ability to communicate relevant information
- Ability to respond to questions from auditors, managers of the company and other staff
- Ability to follow technical manuals
- Ability to have increased contact with people
- Ability to define problems
- Ability to establish facts
- Ability to draw valid conclusions
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions and percentages
