Job Summary
Staff Accountant responsible for preparing financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, variance analyses), executing full-cycle month-end close with journal entries, accruals, and prepaid amortizations, maintaining and analyzing standard costs in a manufacturing setting, performing GL reconciliations, conducting flex (flexible budget) analysis, and supporting audits and internal controls. Requires 3–5 years of manufacturing accounting experience, strong US GAAP knowledge, cost accounting expertise, advanced Excel, ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC a plus), and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
- Experience with cost accounting including standard costing and variance analysis
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
- ERP system experience; Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is a plus
- CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred
