Job Summary

Staff Accommodation Manager overseeing staff housing across multiple lodges in Hakuba. Responsible for onboarding and guiding staff through accommodation areas, supervising operation and maintenance of staff dormitories, acting as liaison between staff and management (HR/Property Managers), coordinating cleaning rotas, stocking basic necessities, assisting with staff shuttles to clinics/hospitals, and proactively addressing issues to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment. Role includes basic cleaning and upkeep, stock management, and ensuring accommodations meet operational needs. Live-in with subsidized accommodation; hours average 40 per week; contract term Nov 2026–Mar 2027. Requires legal right to work in Japan, snow-driving experience, and the ability to handle physical tasks. English fluency preferred; Japanese a bonus.

Required Qualifications

  • Legal right to live and work in Japan (Working Holiday Visa)
  • Driving License and International Driving Permit (with classes B and D)
  • Experience driving in snowy and icy conditions
  • Comfortability driving large and premium vans and cars
  • Aged over 26 per insurance liability requirement
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • English fluency; Japanese a bonus
  • Ability to commit from November 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027
