Job Summary
Greet and seat restaurant guests, manage table flow, and coordinate with food servers to ensure a high-quality dining experience. Accurately collect payments for drink orders via the POS system, maintain the host area and dining spaces in a sanitary, organized state, and stock necessary equipment. Anticipate guest needs, inform patrons of specials, and handle reservations while adhering to responsible alcohol service and health department regulations. Complete opening and closing duties, report tips, and participate in required training programs. Maintain a professional appearance and model for advertisements when assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with guests
- Demonstrated proper telephone etiquette
- Demonstrated ability to operate electronic reservation system and flow charts
- at least one year experience directly related to the accountabilities specified or an equivalent combination of training, education and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position
