Job Summary
The Bilingual Clinician at St. Michael’s Home for Children provides individual and group counseling and psychoeducational services to minors and their families, adhering to professional and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, documenting treatment plans, facilitating psycho-educational group services, and mentoring interns. The role involves attending various meetings, conducting educational trainings, and maintaining client documentation. Applicants must possess a Master’s degree in a mental health field, relevant Texas licensure, and have at least six months of clinical experience. Bilingual candidates in English and Spanish are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in mental health field (Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy)
- Licensed by the State of Texas as LPC Associate, LMFT Associate, or LMSW in good standing with the respective board
- Minimum of six (6) months of experience providing direct clinical services in a mental health setting
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
