Job Summary
Plan and deliver effective instruction that advances the learning of each individual student while integrating Catholic teachings and virtues throughout the curriculum. Create Christ-centered learning environments that promote high levels of achievement for all students, supporting faith formation and student development. Collaborate with students, parents, other educators, administrators, and the faith community to support student growth. Assist students in mastering school curriculum skills and information while respecting the diversity of students. Assume responsibility for professional academic and spiritual growth as a member of the Catholic learning community.
Required Qualifications
- Appropriate state certification/license as required by the grade levels and subjects taught
- Religious Education certification as required by the diocese
- Hold an appropriate Ohio Teaching License (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach
- Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
- Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training
