ST Industrial Maintenance Technician II

Job Summary

Install, inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, digital control systems, mechanical systems, instrumentation, and pumps. Read basic prints, schematics, and single line diagrams to diagnose high-volume production equipment issues. Facilitate routine preventive maintenance scheduling and documentation while supporting operations with clear communication on repair progress. Maintain hazardous waste in accordance with federal regulations and adhere to all site environmental, health, safety, and security requirements. Perform root cause analysis for process problems and execute corrective actions. Interact with vendors and contractors to execute projects and repairs. Initiate Management of Change (MOC) per requirements. Work the B shift (7:00 am - 7:30 pm) on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Ability to read basic prints

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical motor control schematics
  • Ability to read and interpret P&ID drawings
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints
  • Ability to travel frequently up and down stairs
  • Willingness to work rotating shift 2-2-3
  • Willingness to work B Shift from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm

  • Experience with Allen Bradley Products: Power flex
  • Experience with Allen Bradley Products: flex I/O
  • Experience with Allen Bradley Products: Control Logix controllers

  • Core facility equipment experience including boilers
  • Core facility equipment experience including air compressors
  • Core facility equipment experience including air dryers
  • Core facility equipment experience including steam systems
  • Prior leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer skills
  • Ability to identify process problems root cause
  • Ability to facilitate corrective action
