Job Summary
Deliver mathematics instruction to grades nine through twelve while integrating Catholic teachings and virtues into the curriculum. Plan and deliver effective instruction that advances individual student learning, utilizing varied assessments to evaluate progress and ensure mastery of school curriculum skills. Collaborate with students, parents, faculty, and the faith community to support student development and faith formation within a Christ-centered learning environment. Maintain professional academic growth and contribute to the Catholic learning community culture.
Required Qualifications
- Appropriate state certification/license as required by the grade levels and subjects taught
- Religious Education certification as required by the diocese
- Hold an appropriate Ohio Teaching License (Professional, Permanent, or Resident Educator) or be eligible to obtain one before beginning to teach
- Current satisfactory BCI & FBI background checks
- Have attended or be willing to attend a Virtus Protecting God's Children training
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
