Job Summary
Provide individual and group counseling to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs; conduct assessments to identify barriers to student success and create effective support plans; collaborate with IEP and 504 teams to develop and implement services and accommodations; partner with educators, parents, and school staff to address student concerns and promote well-being; deliver crisis intervention and trauma-informed support as needed; serve as a liaison connecting students and families with community services and supports; maintain documentation in accordance with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) and IDEA regulations; participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and MTSS; educate staff on best practices in mental health, classroom behavior strategies, and student engagement; requires MSW and Colorado School Social Work endorsement with fingerprint clearance; Equal Opportunity Employer, contract-based role with potential for extension or permanent placement.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- Valid Colorado Special Services License with a School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
- Fingerprint clearance and background check required
