Job Summary
Provide individual and group counseling to address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Conduct assessments to identify barriers to student success and create effective support plans. Collaborate with IEP and 504 teams to develop and implement services and accommodations. Partner with educators, parents, and school staff to address student concerns and promote well-being. Deliver crisis intervention and trauma-informed support as needed. Serve as a liaison connecting students and families with community services and supports. Maintain documentation in accordance with Colorado Department of Education and IDEA regulations. Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multi-tiered systems of support. Educate staff on best practices in mental health, classroom behavior strategies, and student engagement. Work part-time on-site for 15 hours per week at two days.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
- Valid Colorado Special Services License with a School Social Worker endorsement (or eligibility to obtain)
- Fingerprint clearance and background check required
