Job Summary
Responsible for providing social-emotional support and counseling to students in individual and group settings; conducting assessments to identify needs and develop intervention plans; developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans; collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to address behavioral, emotional, and academic concerns; providing crisis intervention; connecting students and families with community resources; maintaining accurate records in compliance with Oregon Department of Education (ODE) and IDEA guidelines; participating in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and behavior planning; educating and supporting teachers and staff on mental health awareness and classroom behavior management strategies; duties align with contract-based, waiver-supported school social work responsibilities in McMinnville, Oregon.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Oregon School Social Worker License through Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC) OR a valid Oregon TSPC license with appropriate endorsement
