SST Maintenance Technician-2

Maintenance Technician for stainless steel tanker equipment performs repairs, inspections, and welding on specialized equipment including MC-306/406 tank trailers, Aluminum Trainers, and DOT407/412 Trailers. Works on basic electrical components and welding/fabrication to maintain air, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Responsibilities include complex inspections, diagnostic testing, preventative maintenance, welding/fabrication, working in confined spaces, completing paperwork/data entries, and adhering to safety policies to ensure timely completion of scheduled jobs. Requires ability to interpret blueprints and drawings, read assignments in multiple formats, and operate MIG/TIG welders, plasma cutters, and airless paint sprayers. Preferred and minimum qualifications include equipment maintenance/repair experience and confined space certification; DOT inspector certification or ability to obtain; HM-183 certification. A valid driver’s license and the ability to enter a 20-inch man-way hole are required.
