Job Summary
QA Automation Engineer to define the automated testing strategy, design and maintain test cases, and create automated tests for Java Spring Boot services and Camunda workflows. Responsibilities include testing BPMN processes and DMN rules, building automated regression test suites, integrating tests into the CI/CD pipeline, collaborating with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA stakeholders, managing test data, mocks, stubs, and test environments, reporting defects, and promoting good testing practices within the development team.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in test automation (3+ years)
- Experience testing Java Spring Boot applications
- Experience with Camunda BPMN
- Good knowledge of REST API testing
- Hands-on experience with JUnit, Mockito, AssertJ, REST Assured, Cucumber, Karate, Postman/Newman, or similar
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Knowledge of SQL databases and test data preparation
- Experience with mocks, stubs, service virtualization, or contract testing
- Understanding of microservices, backend integrations, and event‐driven architectures
- Ability to define functional, integration, regression, and end‐to‐end test cases
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery
- English level: B2 CEFR
