Job Summary
SSO Strategy & Operations Hub Head leading the global strategy execution for the SSO Hub, driving operational excellence, productivity, and performance; accountable for hub information management, communication standards, and engagement with internal/external stakeholders. Key duties include translating and implementing the global strategic plan, overseeing strategic projects, identifying hub-specific opportunities and risks, driving change management and process improvements to enhance clinical study execution, and collaborating with global and regional leaders to align with GCO strategy. Requires deep knowledge of pharmaceutical development processes, international standards (GCP/ICH), regulatory environments (FDA/EMA), and strong cross-functional leadership and strategic thinking. The role emphasizes governance, benchmarking, and collaboration across hub and global SSO teams to advance the organization toward industry leadership; extensive experience in program management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder communications is expected. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical development, preferably in clinical research, and/or monitoring clinical trials
- Bachelor’s Degree in life sciences
- Advanced Degree in scientific or business preferred
- Demonstrated leadership in leading cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated experience in performance management and productivity projects
- Experience with international standards (GCP/ICH) and health authorities (FDA/EMA)
- Strong strategic thinking and matrix management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
