Job Summary
Assist in implementing safety and security programs while maintaining the safety of Associates, Visitors, Patients, buildings, grounds, and equipment. Oversee enforcement of parking regulations across hospital facilities and provide assistance in handling combative or unruly Patients or Visitors using the least restrictive measures. Perform shift duties as circumstances, situations, scheduling, and staffing levels require. Valid Driver's License, BLS Certification, and clearance from the Fleet Safety Department are required. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $27.29 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years
- Valid Driver's License (Learner's Permit or Provisional License cannot be accepted)
- Successful clearance by Fleet Safety Department to operate vehicles
- BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
- Must be able to intervene with physically aggressive individuals, with a focus on use of the least restrictive measures and the use of force only when absolutely necessary
