Ambulatory Access Coordinator I – Referrals at South Shore Health coordinates patient care referrals, processes insurance authorizations, and supports providers and care teams. Responsible for handling incoming calls, routing to extensions, processing outpatient specialty referrals, updating referrals in the EMR, obtaining insurance authorizations, and communicating with patients and facilities. Works with EPIC/MyChart, ensures timely referrals, and supports department efficiency while delivering professional, courteous service; requires strong customer service, communication, and computer skills, with a schedule Monday–Friday 8:00–4:30 in Norwell, MA.
