Job Summary
The SSG Fox Intervention Case Manager provides intensive, person-centered case management services to veterans and service members at risk for suicide, focusing on immediate needs and reducing barriers to care. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized service plans, coordinating mental health and substance use services, and supporting crisis interventions. Ideal candidates will have experience with high-risk populations, knowledge of suicide prevention principles, and strong advocacy skills. A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred, and candidates must have at least a High School diploma.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in case management, behavioral health, or veteran services
- Experience working with high-risk populations
- Knowledge of suicide prevention principles
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and advocacy skills
Desired Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- CPR Certification
- First Aid Certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain WestCare’s vehicle insurance
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain a criminal background clearance
