Job Summary
SSD System Test Engineering role focused on SSD failure analysis for NPI/HVM in a high-performance NAND Solid State Disk Drive environment. Responsibilities include investigating, replicating, and root-causing SSD failures; performing electrical failure analysis using diagnostic hardware and software tools; collaborating with Test, Firmware, Design Engineering, and ODM teams to resolve defects and drive design/process improvements; documenting failure analysis procedures and results; applying data analysis (Python, SQL) to accelerate failure identification and improve FA throughput; monitoring production yield and identifying emerging failure trends. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field and hands-on experience in semiconductor FA, electrical troubleshooting, and HW debugging; familiar with ODM manufacturing environments; strong teamwork and communication skills; proficient with PC systems and Windows/Linux, and with Python and SQL for data analysis.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Proven experience in failure analysis, electrical troubleshooting, HW debugging in the semiconductor industry
- Familiar with PC systems, Windows/Linux applications
- Experience in Python or other scripting languages for data analysis and automation; familiarity with SQL for data queries is highly valued
