Job Summary
SSD Hardware Architect to define hardware architectures for Micron’s SSD products, drive design reviews and requirements development, design power topologies with strong power integrity across subsystems, simulate/analyze designs to improve performance and reliability, and collaborate with firmware, system, and validation teams. Responsibilities include mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance across the hardware team; minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or computer engineering and 10+ years of hardware design experience. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and hands-on power integrity analysis in lab environments. Location options include Boise, Idaho or Longmont, Colorado, USA. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or computer engineering
- 10+ years of experience in hardware design and system architecture
- Strong foundation in circuit design, transmission line fundamentals, and power & signal integrity
- Experience with PCB design, high-speed routing, and power subsystem implementation
- Proficiency with simulation tools such as SPICE, IBIS, or Hspice
