Job Summary
Lead the definition and evolution of domain-level SSD architecture for next-generation data center SSD solutions (e.g., PCIe/NVMe, memory controller, CPU complex). Own architecture specifications, including system flows and performance optimization strategies, and drive end-to-end product ownership from concept through validation and bring-up. Collaborate across controller, firmware, hardware, and validation teams to translate architectural intent into successful execution; communicate technical direction to both engineering and executive audiences. Mentor and develop engineers, drive cross-functional trade-offs, and identify innovative architectural approaches aligned with business roadmaps. This is a Hybrid role with onsite work in San Jose, CA, with alternate locations in Rancho Cordova, CA; Longmont, CO; and Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems architecture and design, with hands-on contributions to ASIC and/or firmware development
