Job Summary
SrMgr-Sales I is responsible for proactively soliciting and managing large group/catering opportunities with significant revenue potential, upselling packages to maximize revenue, and driving revenue goals. The role collaborates with group/catering counterparts, handles opportunities not managed by an Event Booking Center, ensures proper turnover for service delivery, builds customer loyalty through exceptional service, develops relationships within the community, conducts site inspections, and prepares contracts and proposals to grow group/catering sales and share of the account for the property and brand.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the sales and marketing, guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; no work experience required.
