Job Summary
Provide professional nursing care for inpatients in a hospital setting, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Modify plans of care based on data and individual needs, apply evidence-based practice, delegate within scope, educate patients and families, and collaborate with interprofessional teams to promote safe, high-quality outcomes. Maintain commitment to ethical principles, continuous professional development, and adherence to regulatory standards. Requires an active RN license (state or multi-state via eNLC) and BLS within 30 days of hire; minimum of 1 year nursing experience. Schedule: 36 hours/week, shift: varied. Location: Summersville Regional Medical Center, Summersville, WV. Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt.
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state Registered Nurse license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- One (1) year of nursing experience
