SRMC MedSurg RN Full-time

Professional registered nurse delivering care in an inpatient hospital setting for medical-surgical patients. Responsible for applying the nursing process, modifying a patient’s plan of care based on data, and using evidence-based practice to provide high-quality care. Collaborates with interprofessional team, delegates according to scope of practice, educates patients and families, and supports safety, quality improvement, and ethical practices. Requires active RN license (state or multi-state via eNLC) and BLS certification within 30 days of hire; minimum one year of nursing experience. Schedule includes 36 hours per week with varied shifts; environment includes exposure to biohazards and infectious diseases and requires ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
