Job Summary
Assist in building, maintaining, and improving infrastructure systems using Kubernetes and AWS while monitoring performance and troubleshooting production issues. Contribute to observability efforts with Prometheus and Grafana, automate repetitive tasks to enhance developer workflows, and participate in on-call shadowing and incident reviews. Work with engineers to identify bottlenecks, improve system scalability, and maintain operational runbooks. Leverage AI tools to boost engineering productivity and experiment with automation. This hands-on opportunity supports infrastructure reliability and tooling development within a fast-paced fintech team focused on reshaping the shopping experience.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Linux systems
- networking concepts
- Familiarity with at least one programming language (Golang, Python, or similar)
- Understanding of basic database concepts (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Exposure to containers (Docker) and/or Kubernetes
- Interest in distributed systems, reliability, and infrastructure engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools
