Job Summary
SRE / Network Engineer with MAAS and bare-metal automation expertise. The role centers on maintaining and expanding Linux-based core infrastructure, managing BIOS/IPMI/RAID hardware, designing scalable networks (VLANs, L2/L3 routing, VPNs, UniFi), and building automated provisioning and observability pipelines (Ansible, Bash/Python, Prometheus/Grafana, ELK/Graylog). You’ll deploy and manage virtualization/orchestration platforms (OpenStack with Kolla-Ansible, Proxmox VE, VMware ESXi), implement API integrations, and develop tooling for MAAS-based provisioning, server discovery, and OS deployments (PXE/Preseed/Cloud-init). Strong emphasis on resource tracking, API integrations, dashboard development, and containerized workloads. Excellent Linux administration (Debian/Ubuntu) and hands-on experience with MAAS/Ironic, networking fundamentals, and monitoring/logging stacks are required.
