Job Summary
Entry-level DevOps/SRE internship focused on supporting daily cloud operations, monitoring systems, and maintaining documentation. The role involves assisting with AWS cost analysis, tagging, compliance, usage reports, and optimization; helping with monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and runbook improvements; contributing to automation via scripting; performing ad-hoc troubleshooting, log checks, and metrics reporting; maintaining infrastructure SOPs and internal processes; and participating in on-call duties to support reliability. Ideal candidates have basic Linux and shell skills, some Python/bas h coding, familiarity with AWS, good communication, and a strong interest in DevOps/SRE practices and automation.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Linux and shell commands
- Basic coding knowledge (bash/Python)
- Familiarity with cloud concepts (preferably AWS)
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn quickly
- Interest in DevOps/SRE practices (automation, CI/CD, cloud, monitoring)
- Mindset & Operating DNA: Automation-first approach to solving technical bottlenecks and manual toil
- Strong problem-solving ownership with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly
- A proactive learner who thrives in fast-paced, evolving cloud environments
- Willingness to participate in on-call duties on shift basis to support infrastructure reliability
