Job Summary
DPG is seeking a highly experienced Azure Cloud Developer and Site Reliability Engineer IV-V to support mission systems operating in a classified environment. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure cloud native platforms and DevOps pipelines within a Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The engineer will support the development and modernization of mission systems in Azure environments, integrating security controls and ensuring system reliability, and performance tuning. Required skills include extensive experience in Azure cloud services, CI CD pipelines, hybrid environments, and a strong grasp of DevOps principles. Candidates must possess relevant certifications and be able to work independently.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizenship is required
- An active TS SCI with CI Polygraph is required
- DoD 8570 IAT2 certificate required, i.e. CompTIA Security+
- 10 to 15 plus years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud engineering, DevOps, or site reliability engineering
- Strong experience working within Microsoft Azure cloud environments including core services such as Azure Compute, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, and Azure Identity
- Extensive experience with Windows Server administration and Windows based infrastructure
- Experience designing and deploying cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
- Strong experience building and maintaining CI CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Git, or similar DevOps platforms
- Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting frameworks
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments integrating on premise systems with Azure cloud services
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes or Azure Kubernetes Service
- Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and reliability practices using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, or similar tools
- Experience supporting secure environments and implementing security best practices within cloud platforms
- Experience working in Agile development environments such as Scrum or Kanban
- Strong troubleshooting and systems engineering skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience designing cloud native applications within Azure environments
- Experience supporting Azure Kubernetes Service or container orchestration platforms
- Experience integrating DevSecOps practices into cloud development pipelines
- Experience supporting large scale distributed mission systems
- Experience developing automation using PowerShell, Python, or C Sharp
- Experience working within classified or air gapped cloud environments
- Experience implementing Zero Trust architecture and identity driven security models
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and troubleshoot complex technical problems efficiently
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across development, infrastructure, and mission teams
