Sr. Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist, Supervisor (REMOTE)

Job Summary
Adjudicate complex workers' compensation claims, investigate cases, negotiate settlements, and manage files covering coverage, reserves, and legal issues. Monitor claim statuses, respond to inquiries from insureds and carriers, and mediate coverage disputes between parties. Lead a team by hiring, coaching, conducting performance reviews, and managing timesheets and compensation decisions. Facilitate regular team meetings, coordinate training, and analyze performance data to implement necessary changes. Review all files at least every 90 days and ensure adherence to CRS Best Practices and communication guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- jurisdictional experience in multiple states
- 5+ years of adjusting property and casualty claims, including litigated claims
- Active state specific Workers Compensation License required or the ability to acquire license within three months of hire
- Extensive knowledge of General and Auto Liability or Workers Compensation coverages
- proficient in claims processing procedures
- knowledge or ability to learn multiple state insurance regulations
- pass state licensing exams
Desired Qualifications

- Technical designations, such as AIC and CPCU
- Prior agency, loss control or carrier experience
- Prior supervisory experience
