Job Summary
Build across the feature lifecycle by partnering with Product and Backend from requirements through production. Turn complex, ambiguous requirements into maintainable, scalable React solutions and design shared component libraries. Own front-end architecture to establish standards for code reviews, testing strategies, and monitoring. Optimize Core Web Vitals, bundle sizes, and load times for users on diverse devices and networks. Raise the documentation standard and mentor the team on modern web development.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of React in production, with real, published web applications behind you.
- 1+ year leading or mentoring other developers.
- Proven experience refactoring complex features into clean, maintainable solutions.
- Built and maintained shared component libraries.
- Strong TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Solid experience with state management (Redux, Context API, or similar).
- Established testing strategies (Jest, React Testing Library) as part of how you ship.
- Track record optimizing web performance and cross-browser compatibility.
- Spanish and English proficiency.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience setting up monitoring and analytics for web applications.
- Familiarity with SSR/meta-frameworks (Next.js) and modern build tooling.
- Experience contributing to or owning a design system at scale.
- Background in fintech, payments, or other high-stakes consumer products.
