Sr. Warehouse & Facilities Technician

Job Summary

Conduct receipt, inspection, logging, and storage of incoming goods in compliance with cGMP requirements. Maintain accurate inventory control of materials and facility stock using approved systems, ensuring correct labeling and segregation of hazardous substances. Coordinate movement, staging, and distribution of materials to internal departments while supporting cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and procurement activities. Assist in facility upkeep, routine maintenance, and site inspections, including chaperoning external contractors and overseeing maintenance work orders. Maintain documentation systems for training records, goods-in logs, and compliance permits. Provide flexible support to Facilities operations and ensure adherence to Health & Safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Mathematics, English, and/or a science-based subject
  • Knowledge of goods-in processes, inventory control, and materials handling systems
  • Ability to work flexibly across warehouse and Facilities functions with a proactive approach
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
  • Experience working within a cGMP-regulated warehouse, manufacturing, or facilities environment using an ERP system such as Oracle
  • Experience supporting Facilities operations, maintenance activities, or contractor coordination
  • Understanding of Health & Safety procedures, including Permit-to-Work and contractor control
  • Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, utilities, etc.)

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with hazardous materials handling and storage requirements (COSHH awareness preferred)
  • Experience supporting Facilities operations, maintenance activities, or contractor coordination is advantageous but not essential
  • Understanding of Health & Safety procedures, including Permit-to-Work and contractor control is advantageous but not essential
  • Basic knowledge of building systems (HVAC, utilities, etc.) is advantageous but not essential
