Sr. Warehouse Associate

Job Summary
Prepare goods and materials for shipment with corresponding packing slips while performing basic inventory maintenance and physical counts. Coordinate expedited orders, returns, and exchanges; develop quality assurance standards; and ensure standard load securement meets DOT guidelines. Operate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and stack material within and outside designated areas. Process material stock requests, orders, and returns using inventory systems; verify order completeness and inspect for damage. Handle defective or recalled goods and process customer turn-ins while ensuring compliance with internal control procedures. Work Sunday through Wednesday, 7pm to 7am, rotating shifts as needed to satisfy operational demand.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse setting
- Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences
- Ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights and/or weekends if needed
- Ability to fulfill physical requirements (lift/move appliance up to 100 pounds)
- Ability to wear appropriate work attire (bump cap, footwear, gloves, safety vests)
- Willingness to work flexible workdays and hours
- Ability to multitask
- Experience in distribution
- Experience in material handling
- Ability to follow directions and instructions
- Familiarity with furniture both names and appearances
- Ability to manage your own time
- Able to prioritize multiple job tasks and flexibility to take on additional work beyond Material Handler
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED with 3 or more years experience
- Certified to drive a forklift
- OSHA knowledge
- Experience managing/supervising a team
- Experience training others
- Knowledge of appliance installation
- Knowledge of parts inventory management
