Job Summary
Senior Utilities Technician responsible for operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of plant utilities including high-pressure steam boilers, chillers, air handling units, process wastewater treatment systems, water purification (including RO, deionization), pumps, tank mixers, and related equipment. Performs preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance, follows cGMP/SOPs, completes work orders and logs, supports start-up of new equipment, and ensures compliance with GA/EPA regulations. Requires reading technical manuals and wiring schematics; experience with CMMS/SAP/JDE/Maximo; shifts may include 12-hour rotations; must maintain a positive, professional, customer-oriented attitude and mentor junior technicians.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires a high school diploma or GED plus 8+ years of related industrial related experience.
- Two-year certificate in a technical field such as HVAC, building trades or building utilities program, or equivalent military experience is preferred.
