Sr. Upstream Manufacturing Lead

Job Summary
Lead and coordinate upstream manufacturing operations for MedTech at the Cornelia, GA site, applying advanced, non-traditional approaches across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, testing, and facility systems to maximize quality, efficiency, and output. Drive safe handling, labeling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials with regulatory/compliance documentation. Mentor and develop production teams, align day-to-day activities with performance targets, and champion a safety-first culture. Collaborate across supervisors, engineers, and shift leads to address challenges, support projects, and ensure seamless shift transitions. Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, efficiency, cost control, and overall productivity (including OEE improvements) while maintaining GMP/GDP adherence and a compliant work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Vocational, Certificate, Technical or Associates degree
- Experience: 6-8 years
- Manufacturing experience in Polymer, Adhesives and Sealants, Monofilament Extrusion or Vicryl Extrusion
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to provide documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of GMP and safety procedures
- English fluency
